America Would Not Be Great Without Us
The time has come for us to emerge from the impact of more than 400 years of slavery in this country as new people. A people with renewed understanding of our true worth and invaluable, unquestionable role in building the United States of America. Our Blood, Our Sweat, and yes, Our Tears – has built city after city, state after state – with low pay – no pay.
Denial has been our way of life here in America. Denial of rights, denial of process under the law, denial of Lord, denial of wealth, denial of life itself and denial of who we are - a nation of powerful people.
Therefore, it is time for a change - an Identity Change. A change of how we perceive ourselves, and how we respond to one another. I am talking about Black America. Let us change our thought and minds individually, and in community. Let us live by love collectively. Let us turn one toward another in true love and respect – not hatred, or disapproval.
Let us brand ourselves as a free and powerful people standing as one nation under God, indivisible - with liberty and justice for All.
